The resource monitor shows how much CPU and memory Traycer’s work is using on a host, broken down by agent, shell and process.

Open It

  • Click the resource monitor in the status bar at the bottom of the window.
  • Or press ⇧Esc / Shift+Esc.
To show it in the header instead, open Settings › Layout, set Placement to Header, and turn on Show resource monitor in header. Layout also chooses what the status bar segment shows: its Scope (Host or Desktop app) and its Metrics (CPU, Memory, Processes and RAM share).

What It Shows

  • Totals for the host: CPU, memory and RAM share. The memory label depends on the platform, such as “Resident memory (RSS)” or “Proportional memory (PSS)”.
  • Agents and their work. Expand an agent to see the shells and operating-system processes it started. The host’s other processes, such as provider servers, are grouped under Other.
  • Traycer Desktop. The app’s own Main and Renderer processes.
Use the host picker at the top to look at another host. Process lists come from the host itself, so they aren’t available while that host is offline. Search with Search resources…, and sort by Memory, CPU, Name or Tab order.

Stop Or Kill Work

Hover a row to stop or kill it, then confirm. Press Enter to confirm or Esc to keep it running. To act on several rows at once, click Select processes to kill, check the rows, and click the action button. Its label names both verbs when the selection mixes them, such as Stop 1 · Kill 1 for one shell and one Chat agent process. Read it before you click.
